This is funny

Fake orgasm prank call

"Shame on You"

Before I even finished posting yesterday's news about R&B singers, another one was put on the list, call it a conspiracy but J Holiday was arrested thursday in Atlanta and charged with possession of marijuana. Don not expect the media outlets to put that story to "Bed". lol

Clinton is at it again being all mad at Barack Obama. Now she accuses him of sending flyers to voters in Ohio with false information. I checked the information and the statements were about her position on Health Care (make it mandatory for everybody even if you can't afford it-true) and NAFTA( that her husband crafted and she supported-true). I don't know why this is news to her but in the last debate Obama made the same remarks and she never denied anything, all of a sudden she want to go gangsta on the brother. Shame on you Hilary.

The Oscars are on tonight and I only watched one of the movies nominated so I guess I'm ruling for "There Will Be Blood" even though I'm more likely to like "Juno" better when I get to see it. "I'm Finished" .(get it?)

SNL is back and it was funny as hell I'll post the videos later today.

Hip Hop Police

Snoop Dogg is at it again. The Doggfather got ticketed last night outside a club for smoking some weed. Really Snoop? I thought you quit. Hopefully you're not in violation of any probation.

Singer Tank had an "electrifying" All Star Game down in New Orleans. Even Though the event went by without any major incident, (besides a shooting at a club where the Hot Boys were supposed to have their reunion) Tank was tased by the New Orleans Police while he was walking down the street. He intends to sue them.
"Don't tase me bro'!"

R&B singers are going Gangsta now. Singer Neyo was pulled over early tuesday morning for speeding he was booked for wreckless driving and driving without a license. Oh Boy since when singers have to have street cred, you are not Bobby.
Here's the mugshot:

Got Punk'd?J-lo twins

What king of party do you go and possibly end up with Hepatitis A? An Ashton Kutcher party that is. All the celebrities that attended his birthday bash are asked to take shots in prevention of contamination. I know they are praying to hear they got punk'd on this one. It's not all glam to be famous.

Congats to J-lo and marc Anthony for their new addition twins: a boy and girl. The bidding war for the pictures of the baby are flying through the roof reaching the 7 figures mark.

Brief News

Great debate last night between Obama and Clinton, both of them had strong moment. Clinton got booed trying to criticize Obama on his speeches again but finished well with a standing ovation. Obama looked really presidential, once again he connected with his audience.

The Cleveland Cavaliers finally decided to go another direction with a new supporting cast for Lebron James. In a deal involving 3 teams and 11 players, the Cavs are getting Delonte West (candidate for most improved player of the year) Ben Wallace and Wally Sczerbiack; Bye bye to Hughes, Gooden. Not sure yet how this is going to help them compete in the East with the Pistons and Boston.

Kanye West's North American Tour tickets are selling out in less than 30 min in every city. You should check it out. Oh jigga and Marry J. are also going on tour. I'll go if Beyonce was in the package.

50 cent got a judge to reduce his child support. See ladies, by asking too much you end up with nothing. This should be a lesson.

Another incident at an Akon's concert, 8 people were arrested after a fire alarm was set off. No significant injuries. After all those incidents I'm not that excited to go see him, some might pop off.

It's Rihanna Day in Barbados. The girl is international now her own country just honored her with her own holiday the day after her birthday. All that for just saying "ella" ella" "eh" "eh". Producers and artisits please stop using that adlib in your new songs (Timbaland, The Dream-even if you wrote it).

Lunar and Suns Eclipse

Last night was marked by two very unusual events, one was the lunar eclipse around 10:30 pm (eastern) and the other was the showdown between Kobe and Shaq. A game NBA fans thought they will not see again this year since Shaq missed the first one (december 25th) when he was still in Miami. We were served by a high quality game, a great display of talents and skills worthy of highlights on ESPN. It wasn't a total Phoenix Suns eclipse though; the Lakers lead mostly during the whole game, but the Suns kept fighting back, they even lead by one point in the 4th quarter. Thats' when Kobe and Gasol took over to finish them off and spoiled Shaq's first game in Phoenix since the trade. The duo Kobe-Gasol is going to be unstoppable, they have a great chemistry, better than the tandem Kobe-Odom. The West is looking ridiculous right now, Kidd with Dallas, Shaq with Phoenix because of that San Antonio felt obliged to get some size and got Kurt Thomas.New Orleans is still flying under the radar, people tend to forget they have the best record in the West, Chris Paul also spoiled Kidd's debut with Dallas. With 30 games remaining in the regular season, it's everyone's game, any team at any point can take the lead of their division and get home court advantage. It's going to be a marathon and about who got the lungs and hearth to go all the way.
Final Score: Lakers 130 Suns 124
Funny moment of the game: Shaq elbowed Raja Bell his own teammate and left a huge bump of the size of the moon on the back of his head.

Obama in a streak

Last night was another memorable and historic night for Senator Barack Obama. Once again he won in a state that was supposed to go to Hilary Clinton, but with the momentum he's been having since Super Tuesday it's hard to stop him. Not even a couple of negative ads and desperate moves by the Clinton's campaign staff (questionning the sources of his speeches, please) stopped him from adding a couple states under his belt, making it's 10th win in a row. Impressive work by his campaign.
Akward moment last night when Barack Obama walked into the stage in Houston,Texas to give his victory speech at the same time Hilary was on. Tradition wants the loser to speak first and then the winner. But Barack in a very calculated move wanted all eyes on him that night and he did, because all news channels switched to Texas, leaving Hilary talking only to the People of Youngstown, Ohio. You may say it wasn't classy at all, but what wasn't classy is Hilary and her staff keeps downplaying the impressive wins of Obama, yesterday he didn't even get a congratulations from her on national T.V.
It's going to get nastier and nastier, now McCain is showing his colors, going after Obama and Hilary is not backing down on the attacks. Can't wait to see the approach she's going to have on the debate on thursday (CNN at 8 pm).

Fidel Castro stepped down

Decades of dictatorship just ended early this morning in Cuba when long time and imposed President of Cuba Fidel Castro resigned. It was long overdue and now the People of Cuba have hope for a democratic state, which is more than unlikely since Castro transfered his powers to his brother Raul. This country like many other African country are run like a family business, relatives of the President head the most prominent government departments. Now that the boss is forced to step down due to illness (he downplayed it for many years) he's looking to keep the monopole in the family. Kabila did it for his son in the Democratic Republic of Congo, now Castro.
It's the end of an era, but not the end of the embargo the United States has against Cuba since the late sixties. People tend to forget that Castro transfered most of his powers since 2006, this is jsut official news. Expect more of the same in the upcoming years regarding diplomatic relations between Cuba and The United States.

Why Hilary needs to drop the race

I understand she's still got a chance to win a nomination, but she gotta be the bigger man and understand how historical for this country having an american of african descent elected President of the United States (McCain has no chance). Edwards understood how historical it was to have a woman and a black man run for president at this stage of the competition. the shake up in her campaign staff is a sign of weakness for me; a few months ago she thought her name will win it for her, she took it for granted and under estimated Obama's ability of rallying independents, republicans and democrats around the same cause: Hope for a better future in America. Now she switched up her tactics and is going really hard on him on TV ads. One of those ads is claiming that Obama refused a debate in Ohio, really Hilary that's all you got, the democrats had more than 20 debates since the beginning of this campaign she really thinks at this stage another couple hours repeating the same line and rhetorics will convince voters. We already know what you stand for, and your agenda. What the public is looking for now is likability, charisma and personality qualities she doesn't have over Barack. Thats's why they are worried and that's why they are attacking him like that.
You know peole say they see a lot of Kennedy in Barack but what I see is a lot of Mandela, you cannot not like this guy and his family. He's the best man for the job because america has a lot image issues to fix around the world. He's already appealing to the majority of Americans and the rest of the world wants him as President, fly overseas and you will see.
Please DNC do not let superdelegates decide this outcame, Democracy is for the People, By the People, and the People have decided they want Barack Obama.
We want Change/Yes We can.

NBA All Star Game Weekend

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the whole All Star Game Weekend I was romancing my girlfriend for Valentine's Day (yepp that's how I do it, the whole weekend, not just one day). Anyway thanks to the new technologies i caught video highlights of Saturday festivities on the web and saw the game yesterday. Any game without Kobe Bryant(played only 3 min due to injury) for me is boring so i didn't enjoy it. Good for us we need him for the playoffs. King James did it again, this guy is a monster and has a very diverse game he can average a triple double at any given moment and his name is not even Jason Kidd. He deserved that MVP even though Ray Allen is the one that brought the East back in the game and won.
With the absence of Shaq at the show I was worried we wouldn't be entertained behind the scenes (big ass shoe-phone, remote shoe control...) but Howard took over for him (I see a lot of shaq in him personality-wise) he brought creativity back, all the contenders for the slam dunk contest were very inspired, I enjoyed the "cupcake candle blow" and the "superman" he flew so high he didn't need to slam that ball somehow he got lucky when he threw it through the hoop. I'm pretty sure that wasn't what he had in mind.
Great show by the NBA paying tribute to New Orleans Music Heritage, it brought the world's attention to what needs to be done for a full recovery in that region. more work need to be done starting from us to the government.

Jason Kidd to Dallas

I knew that the trade of Pau Gasol to the Lakers (my favorite team by the way) was about to shake things up in the Western Conference at least for us. But what I didn't expect was the response from the remaining contenders for the title. I'm talking about Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio. the first two made major trades before the All Star Game: Shaq to the Suns and possibly Kidd to Dallas (not official yet). None of those trades are of the magnitude of the lakers', now everybody is paying attention to us, even Popovich feels that the trade was unfair since Memphis did not get anything valuable at all (Bye Kwame). Here's what I think he's hating on us and should be worrying about improving his team to repeat this year before it's too late. But I gotta admit it's a toss up in the West, I see major upsets in the first round of playoffs, the top 8 teams are very good. Dallas and Phoenix are not improved at all after those trades. shaq is suffering from injuries he would never get back to even 80%, and Jason Kidd would definitely make everybody around him better but unfortunately they won't be better than the lakers (we got a deep bench, they don't), New Orleans and the Spurs (they're the champs). So sorry guys y' all tried to follow the lakers' footsteps but Kuptchak fooled everybody on this one, even myself I was still calling for his firing 2 months ago.
