President Obama Announces Death of Osama Bin Laden

I got to witness this great moment in history on Twitter. Around 10pm, they announced that Obama was about to make a special speech live on TV, interrupting the season finale of Donal Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" (Ha! Ha!). I automatically knew this was related to Bin Laden or Khaddafi. The speech was scheduled for 10:30, as tension and speculations built up on the web, Obama appeared on our screens an hour after the schedule time and announced that he authorized a special mission led by the CIA that will take down Osama Bin Laden. The leader of Al-Qaeda was hiding in a fortified compound in Abbottabad a few miles outside of Islamabad, Pakistan.

The death of Bin Laden is a huge victory for the U.S in their war against terrorism. It's a huge blow to the moral of his disciples or followers. There will be retaliation eventually (I'm expecting a post-mortem video of Bin Laden to surface anytime soon now, but as time goes, the stronghold of Al-qaeda around the world will dwindle since they're left without financial support and their spiritual leader.

The body of Bin Laden was buried at sea according to Islamic laws and traditions; after multiple Arab countries, including his home country Saudi Arabia, refused to take his body.

Justice has finally been done almost a decade later after the attacks of 9/11 that killed thousands of Americans.

Obama accomplished in 3 years what Bush couldn't in 8. We have to applaud him for having the guts to authorize such a ground mission. They usually send drones and bomb the whole spot but they needed his body to prove to the world that he was dead.

Obama is having the best week ever, he just won himself a second term. Take that Donald Trump.

Obama Got It Right!
