Once a year MTV sits industry insiders around a table and tape them arguing about who's the hottest MC in the game. Obviously, we all have our own list, maybe with the same names but in different rank.

Andre 3000 hasn't put out an album in years, they only judge him on 2 or 3 verses in two different remixes that date from last summer and a joint in DJ Drama's album. Don't get me wrong the lyrics were fire but it's not the top 10 lyricist list, it's the hottest MC list. 50 cent should rank higher than that he's on the news every week and he put out two strong mixtapes online. Lil Wayne is first on my list because of the body of work he's put out over the year, all those guest appearances and remixes and Lollipop is hot in the club and radio right now. Kanye is second on my list.
