New Orleans Hornets Gone Fishin'

I'm really sad for them. I really wanted to see a Lakers-Hornets Western Conference Finals. I thought it was a given for New Orleans since they were playing at home, what i forgot was San Antonio were the Champs and they played like champs yesterday. They were facing elimination on the road and they rose up and left with a win. We are at a point of the competition where experience is a huge factor. The Hornets are a young team, because of that game 7 loss they'll be a better team next season. You just have to learn from it. The Spurs experience brought them back into the Conference Finals. They're facing my Lakers and it should be a very interesting series. Both teams split their games during the regular season (2-2) so nobody can truly predict the outcome on this one. I'm behind my team a 100% and we're going to be in L.A on Wednesday, we should get all our wins at home.

Nas Changes Controversial Title of his album

Looks like somebody has been reading my blog. Nas confessed last week to MTV News that he was under a lot of pressure to change his album title. We all know it by know so I'm not going to repeat it here. He finally caved in under the power of Corporate America and Capitalism. All that talk and support he got from a few artists and industry executives was nothing compared to retailers', Universal's and Def Jam's last word.
Looks like the album is going to be retitled Nas. Now that the controversy is over you have to question his real intentions from the beginning, were they just trying to create enough buzz for the album by having the whole blogosphere talk about it and then surprised us with what was supposed to be probably the original title. I don't buy it.

Cleveland Cavs Gone Fishin'

King James and his team almost made a comeback to lead an upset in Boston, but poor shot shot selection at the end of the game sent them fishin'. Boston is finally moving to Eastern Conference Finals and will face The Detroit Pistons who had a pretty long rest, so long that Chauncey Billups who got hurt during the series against Orlando will be playing. The fact that Boston has been worn out in back to back 7 game series will obviously help The Pistons. At the beginning of the playoffs I had Boston as the winner of the conference finals, but the way they've been playing poorly on the road makes me doubt.
We'll see how it plays out.

A 17 year old Denver,CO boy is being charged for the death of a 7 year old girl he was baby sitting with his girlfriend, the sister of the victim. The teenager started reenacting scenes of the violent video game Mortal Kombat by punching, kicking, twisting her arms and holding her by her ankles. she died of force-blunt trauma to the head. The young teen later confessed to a friend that

he was doing martial arts on her (the victim) and that his hands were registered weapons

They are both standing trial as adults.
