Recap: Kanye West Album Release Concert in NYC - The Performances.

Mr. West brought out the big guns for this one. Kanye performed the whole album in it's original sequencing with special guest dropping here and there. We're talking Teyana Taylor, Bon Iver, Mike Dean, nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, John Legend, Pusha T and Cyhi Da Prince.















And of course Kanye closed out the show with  a 10-minute rant aimed at Bush and Taylor Swift. He also thanked the fans and bragged a lil bit. Gotta love him.

After almost canceling G.O.O.D Friday due to leaks of unfinished materials by some unappreciative hacker (all the free music we've been getting from Kanye for weeks now), Mr. West comes thru with an incredible posse collaboration.

“The Fire” is one of my favorite tracks off HIGO and really feels like something you’d hear in the theater. The line “you don’t say good luck, you say don’t give up” inspired me to create a period piece narrative that stays true to the lyrics while adding another layer to the interpretation.

Not how i would've interpreted the track visually, but hey what do I know.
