In Hip Hop only Eminem will agree to this kind of nonsense. Strangely enough I wasn't laughing, just shaking my head. You can tell this was staged, I mean a naked dude is falling onto your lap at a very slow speed and you don't get up? Either you like that kind of stuff or you rehearsed for it.

2009 Playoffs Highlights - Day 35
Orlando embarassed Cleveland last night. The Magic are heading to the NBA Finals, Lebron is not. No more Nike puppet commercials.
King James was so upset that he didn't bother to stay for the ritual Press conference at the end of the game. I don't even think he shook any hands of the Magic.

2009 Playoffs Highlights - Day 34
We're going to the finals (*singing).
Oh yeah! Way to close out the series. The Lakers were almost perfect for this game. They came with a mission and stay focused all the way to the end. Everybody contributed in their way, Ariza early on scored 10 points in the first quarter then Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant took over this game with their triangle offense and their inside-outside post-up game. The Nuggets defense had no answer for them, Carmelo was once again struggling from the field. JR Smith tried to pick up the slack but it wasn't enough to counter the Lakers physical defense.
So we're heading back to the NBA Finals and this time we're ready, No Boston for our REVENGE, we'll take anybody. Which ever team, Cleveland or Orlando joins us better come ready with their game face on. The whole world wants to see a Kobe vs. Lebron Finals (even Nike and their puppet commercial) and I have to admit they'll be an easier opponent compared to Orlando. Dwight is dominant in the paint it will be a tough challenge for Andrew Bynum and they have great 3-point shooters.
Anyways, time will tell.

Orlando won this game in overtime. Lewis, Pietrus and Alston made it rain from the 3-point line. Cleveland can't come back from this 3-1 lead. Nobody has in a long time. This would be over in Game 6 at Orlando.
Lebron James is still a Beast though.

Orlando leads the series 2-1. I'm starting to think that Cleveland has no answers for Orlando inside-out plays. They got so many talented 3-point shooters that it's a gamble when they decide to double-team Dwight Howard. Once he kicks the ball out it's an automatic 3 point shot.
If the Magic go back to Cleveland leading the series 3-1, it's over for the Cavs.

I just saw this interview on HBO Real Time with Bill Maher. I had no idea there was an ongoing civil war in Sri Lanka, that just ended a few days ago. Rapper M.I.A is originally from this small island off the coast of India. At a very young age she fled the country and sought refuge in England.
It's really a shame that this small country hasn't made the headlines in mainstream media. Good thing we have the Internet and we can educate ourselves about what's going on outside the U.S.

2009 Playoffs Highlights - Day 29
Another close down to the wire type of game. This time Kobe took over with a 3-pointer over JR Smith to regain the lead and hit free throws that matter at the end of the game. These conference finals are the best I've seen in years, don't be surprised if you hear the NBA is having its best ratings ever.
Those games could go either way in the final minutes. It just comes to who can execute and take care of the ball the most.
Denver needs to go back to practice and handle their inbound passes, Ariza made another game changing steal at the end of the game.

2009 Playoffs Highlights - Day 26
I like that Cleveland finally got a reality check. They were on a cake walk for the past two rounds without any team really challenging them (The East is that weak). Dwight Howard is a beast, he brought us back into memory lanes when Shaq used to bring down the house in Orlando and breaking the board. Dwight almost did that, he broke down the shot clock.
When is the last time you saw Kobe call a time out or cramp up because he was running out of gas so he can catch his breath? Never, but Lebron did and people wants to compare them. I take experience over God-given talent any time of the day. He choke at the end of the game and it cost his team a "W".
Don't get me wrong I still have Cleveland to win series. The whole world wants to see a Kobe vs. Lebron Finals, but at this rate we might not. LBJ needs more support for his team, they need to step up and make those wide open shots.

2009 Playoffs Highlights - Day 25
What a game this was. Physical, exciting and close until the end. What more can you ask for. Carmelo was on fire from the get-go and gave Denver a 13-point early lead. But then the Lakers 2nd unit came in and brought them back and outscored Denver bench 20-3 in the first half. Both teams traded tough shots after tough shots until the end. On the defensive end watching Carmelo and Kobe go at each other was exciting.
I expect the same kind of energy throughout the whole series and of course I got my Lakers in 6. Props to Ariza and that steal in the inbound pass at the end of the game, it sealed the deal for his team.

I've been dedicated to my workout for the past couple months, shedding those pounds and toning my body so I can be ready for the summer. Florida will see me on one of their beaches by August for sure.

R.I.P Dolla
Very unfortunate event. I got word of the tragic shooting of Akon's artist yesterday and was waiting on the confirmation. He was standing at the valet parking outside a mall in Beverly Hills and got shot multiple times.
A suspect was later apprehended at LAX with a gun tucked in his waist.
