MVP! MVP! MVP!

I've been waiting for the official announcement for days now. I even started writing the post 3 days early. That's how sure I was my boy Kobe Bryant will be MVP. The announcement came down this afternoon in L.A. After all these years he never was that close, he never ranked higher than third place. Some will call the Award a Lifetime Achievement Award because Chris Paul was as deserving, I say why not? You got to make up for all these years where you missed his name. The year he scored 81 points, or the year he carried the whole team on his back and managed to make the playoffs. It's about damn time! (excuse my french).
Now all we got to do is finish the journey all the way to The Conference Finals, where The Lakers will beat New Orleans (I believe, no I know so) and then face Boston at the Big One.
So congratulations to Kobe Bryant, to all the haters keep up with the motivation, none of you had us at this stage of the competition especially when Kobe was asking for a trade last summer, criticizing his teammates and the front office. Look at us now, it rallied the troops, Bynum was having a huge season before the injury and we are better than ever, everybody trusting each other, enjoying playing under Kobe's leadership.

We Da Best!!!

The press conference was pretty funny when his teammates were asking him question:
