Kobe scores big on MVP Night, Detroit loses Billups

The evening started in Orlando with a bad news for The Pistons. In the first minutes of the game Chauncey Billups drives to the basket and get tangled with Jameer Nelson, he goes down and has a hard time getting up. Looks like he either pulled his muscle groin or a hamstring. After heading to the locker room, the trainers confirmed it was a hamstring. Billups never came back and Detroit struggled ever since. Orlando won game 3, and without Billups it's going to be really hard to compete with Orlando. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, Billups' status is still uncertain for the next game.
You could feel the electricity in the air. The Staples Center was packed, fans impatiently waiting for the MVP ceremony to start. Kobe Bryant received his trophy from Commissioner David Stern and the game was on. The Lakers led mostly in the game, played tough defense on Utah, shut down once again Carlos Boozer. Los Angeles leads the series 2-0. That's six games in a row since the beginning of the Playoffs, and history is with us on this one. Every time we start 6-0 we end up winning the Championship. (we only lost once in 5 attempts)
