The O.G Elliott Wilson (Rap Radar) is back on his Editor duties, formerly at XXL mag, now at "Respect" magazine. So for his first cover he obviously went against the grain and picked, Summer anthem extraordinaire Waka.
Many of you will disagree with his choice. Sure Waka was deserving of a cover this Summer but now I'm not too sure. He had to overlook Kanye, Jay and Nicki, tough pill to swallow. Anyways, on a business standpoint, if you want to sell, you gotta make the streets talk and for that you gotta create a controversy.
Mission accomplished. The streets are buzzing. Can't wait to read his editorial, his shit talking was the reason I subscribed to XXL while he was there. Brilliant writer.
