Barack Obama Speech in Berlin, Germany

I was waiting for this leg of Senator Barack Obama Middle Eastern/European trip to finally post something. Republicans are shaking right now, not only because of the succes of this trip but also on how presidential Senator Obama looked (at least more than Bush who gets booed all the time). He was welcomed earlier today with cheers and spoke in front of a huge crowd estimated at more than 100,000 (a personal record). The speech will be added to the History books next to Kennedy's and Reagan's speeches in Berlin. Can't wait to laugh at the Republican critics of this speech.

This man as U.S President will restore the image of The United States in the World, just watch. He met World leaders in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Germany and was embraced by them, France and England are up next. Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Maliki agreed with him on a timetable for U.S troop withdrawals which irked the Bush administration and John McCain. Senator John McCain, by the way a few years back said that he would grant the Iraqi wishes for troop withdrawals if they ask (a sovereign nation) and now he's backing down on it.

Here's my favorite quote of Obama's speech, I'll post the video as soon as it gets out.

The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic cannot stand. The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down.
