Leon who? Pow as Phil Jackson called him during the post game press conference, it's actually Powe and I got to admit I never heard of dude before. He has the game of his life and was the reason the Celtics went on the run at the 3rd quarter, at some some point they were leading by more than 20 points.
I'm not going to complain about the officiating I'm just going to give you the facts: Leon Powe in 14 minutes of play (remember he's a bench player) had more free throws than the entire L.A team. This is too much of a discrepancy and Phil Jackson was pretty smart about it when addressing it to avoid a fine by the League. His complaint sounded loud and clear and we expect a rectification by the time we get to L.A. OK yes, Boston played excellent defense and yes we almost made the greatest come back in Playoffs history, but it was too late. We hit a few three pointers down the stretch when Boston was acting like the game was over, a couple steals and the 20 point lead got down to two. Big up to Pierce who made his free throws under pressure to clinch that win.
They took care of their home court, it's time for us to do the same (next 3 games are in L.A)
