There is always one of those upsets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs(last year was Dallas). The Atlanta Hawks showed they had the biggest heart last night by forcing a game 7 back in Boston, now they have the momentum and all the pressure is on Boston, everybody was expecting them to win in 4 including me, but now we are all pulling for that young and athletic team. Good luck to them, I'll be watching. I saw a game 7, I just didn't call the right one (I predicted that The Wizards will force a game 7, unfortunately they got eliminated)
The Lakers now know who they're facing on the second round, it's going to be Utah (they eliminated The Rockets in 6)and we have a pretty good record against them (3-1 I believe) it's going to be over in 6 of course with The Lakers moving on.
Oh by the way, word is out that Kobe will receive the NBA MVP Award next week, I'm waiting for the official announcement to post some(it's about time if you ask me)

Diddy gets his Hollywood Star
Congrats to Diddy he's getting his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star today in L.A. Why? I don't know because I'm still trying to remember one big blockbuster movie he's been on. He's not even an established actor, his last movie was a T.V movie, and the one before that went straight to DVD.
That thing is becoming political, you can even buy your own star now with a few signatures.

8th Grader schools a Detroit Council
You go girl! Monica Conyers a Detroit Council member called the President of that same council a "trick" in a debate a few weeks back, now students are grilling her about it.
Detroit to face Orlando in 2nd round
Detroit got their senses back and ended The Philadelphia Sixers hopes of dragging the series to game 7. They won last night handily and looked more like former Champs. They are moving to the second round and will face Orlando, this is going to be an interesting matchup because I don't think Detroit has enough size and power to stop Dwight Howard.
Now we're waiting for Boston and Cleveland to do the same. I expect Boston to do so but not Cleveland (it's going to game 7).

Obama Top Ten's on Letterman
He's giving his top ten list tonight of "Surprising facts about Barack Obama":
10. My first act as President will be to stop the fighting between Lauren and Heidi on “The Hills.”
9. In the Illinois primary, I accidentally voted for Kucinich.
8. When I tell my kids to clean their room, I finish with, “I’m Barack Obama and I approved this message.”
7. Throughout high school, I was consistently voted “Barackiest.”
6. Earlier today I bowled a 39.

I've seen many reports were The U.S Government put innocent on the U.S Terrorist list or the flight risk list database, some American, some with names close to an actual terrorist. But this is a new low, Nelson Mandela leader of the anti Apartheid in South Africa, fought for desegregation, human rights, equal rights for Blacks and Whites is on the actual terrorist list. I call this a diplomatic embarrassment, he's a Nobel Peace Prize winner for God's sake. Every time he wants to visit The U.S he needs the permission of Condoleeza Rice (Secretary of State).
The reason behind it is that back in the 70's The ANC party founded by Nelson Mandela was deemed as a terrorist group by the white government in charge in South Africa, so The U.S follow suit and qualified all members including Mandela as actual terrorists. It hasn't changed ever since, nobody bothered to remove the brilliant man from the "list".
They better prepare a public apology, but then again it's the Bush Administration they never admit their mistakes, the only way to rectify this is to pass a bill through Congress that will remove them from the watch list. I mean come on terrorist group like Hamas is on the same list. A former South African ambassador to The United States was denied a visa because she was on that list, she wanted to visit her dying cousin, when a waiver was issued it was too late, she never got the chance to say goodbye.

Butler Serves The Cavs
I knew once Arenas came back he would disrupt the chemistry of the team. After a long knee surgery rehabilitation, Arenas tried to make a comeback during the Playoffs to help his team The Wizard pass by The Cavaliers. All he did was blocked them from the growth we've been witnessing during the regular season. So as a great teammate he decided not to jeopardize their chances to advance in the second round and he took a back seat by sitting game 5 out.
Wise decision because The Wizards pulled an upset last night at the last minute and half when they were being lead by 5 points. They shut down Cleveland and Butler took over for their final shot and made a very difficult lay-up. King James tried to come back with a similar action but failed, before that Butler whispered in his ears "miss this shot, make it interesting and let's take it back to DC"(I like the mind game, it worked. Remember James did the same to Arenas last year before he shot his free throw). The series is now 3-2 still in favor of Cleveland, but remember I told you it was going to 7 with a win by The Wizards (look for the upset)
