A Celebration of Black History Month [Day 12]



Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement. He delivered the famous "I Have a Dream" speech after the March on Washington in 1963 to raise public consciousness of the Civil Rights Movement.

Dr. King was assassinated April 4th 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee which sparked riots all over the country.
