A Celebration of Black History Month [Day 2]

Today's video is about Frederick Douglass (1818-1895) who was born slave and fought for his Freedom and became an Abolitionist. He's also the first African American to be nominated Vice President by a major Party (they didn't win the election). Taught himself how to read and write and later shared his knowledge in his books and with other slaves.

I'll leave you with a quote: I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.
