The Cadillac Escalade ESV topped the list according to The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Highway Loss Data.
Surprisingly there are a lot of trucks and SUVs in this top 10. During most of 2008 we were facing high gas prices but still thieves were inspired to break into Hummers, Ford trucks and Escalades, probably for their expensive parts and accessories and a high demand overseas.
One thing though I'm not surprised by the Magnum and the Charger being in there, they are very popular.
